British Independent Film Awards. Winners.

Slumdog Millionaire was the big winner at last night's British Independent Film Awards ceremony, picking up prizes for best film, best director (Danny Boyle) and Most Promising Newcomer (Dev Patel). Steve McQueen's won the Douglas Hickox Award, Michael Fassbender won best actor and Sean Bobbitt best technical achievement, all for Hunger.

Happy-Go-Lucky's won two: best supporting actor and actress (Eddie Marsan and Alexis Zegerman). And here's the full list of winners.
