BFI @ 75.
The British Film Institute turns 75 this year, and they've set up quite a mini-site to celebrate. For "Visions of the Future," they've "asked 75 key figures from the world of film and current affairs 2 questions: Which one film would you wish to share with future generations? What excites you about the future of the moving image?"
They've also got a sale going on, a series of special events and screenings, naturally, and a gallery of 75 images from the over 150 films they've restored. Via the Guardian's Charlotte Higgins.
