Times. LFF.

LFF 07 The Times of London, co-presenter of the London Film Festival (October 17 through November 1), rolls out its special section, led by James Christopher's overview of the highlights. Special emphasis is laid on the paper's Gala screening of Lions for Lambs; and Tim Teeman talks with Meryl Streep.

Artistic Director Sandra Hebron finds it "more important than ever that we're clear about why we have a festival in London, and what we're trying to achieve." She's actually a bit clearer on those points over at the festival's site.
