Toronto. Fugitive Pieces.

Fugitive Pieces "Writer/director Jeremy Podeswa's adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Anne Michaels is a remarkably bloodless affair," writes Premiere's Glenn Kenny.

"I detest the use of the term Lite to characterize anything other than beer or soda pop, but Fugitive Pieces is Hollywood, make that Hallmark, Lite," writes Howard Feinstein for Filmmaker.

"[F]or all the moments that are conceived as cliché, or which skulk across the screen weighed down by literary shackles (way too much lyrical voiceover, for starters), the movie comes alive in fits and starts," blogs the LA Weekly's Scott Foundas.
