SIFF. Awards.

The
Seattle International Film Festival has announced the Jury Award and Golden Space Needle Audience Award winners. From the Jury:
New Director Award: Eric Richter Strand for Sons. Here's to new Norwegian cinema, Karsten!
New American Cinema Award: Shotgun Stories, written and directed by Jeff Nichols.
Best Documentary: Austrian Harald Friedl's Out of Time.
Audiences have voted to give the Lena Sharpe Award to Annie Sundberg and Ricki Stern's The Devil Came on Horseback. Also:
Best Director: Daniel Waters for Sex & Death 101.
Best Actor: Daniel Brühl for Salvador.
Best Actress: Marion Cotillard for La Vie en Rose.
Best Film: John Jeffcoat's Outsourced.
Best Documentary: Daniel Karslake's For the Bible Tells Me So.
Best Short Film: Dan Brown's Pierre.
