Berlinale, 2/9.

Berlinale Reviews will resume shortly, but I just wanted to quickly point to some of the other Berlinale coverage out there: indieWIRE has opened its hopping Berlinale section. Cinematical's got a lively "Berlin" category. Variety's blogging alongside its Berlin section; and the Hollywood Reporter's reserved a corner of its site for the festival as well.

From Germany, in English: "Breathless," signandsight's Berlinale diary is up and rolling. Also: EXBERLINER and Spiegel Online.

Special sections in German: The Berliner Zeitung, Der Tagesspiegel, Spiegel Online and Die Zeit.

And! As noted below, Rush Bogg, for coverage in Norwegian. (Looking forward to meeting you, Karsten!)

Ehm, and Berlinale coverage in Norwegian... for those interested, to be found here. Can't wait to read your thoughts on I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK, David, if you caught it today. I was mesmerized, and I'm trying to write up something before the start of tomorrow's screenings.

I did catch it, Karsten, and you'll find not one but two opinions posted either later tonight or tomorrow.

Hey, David, hope you'll catch a doc I'm producing that's having its' world premiere in the Forum, A Walk Into the Sea: Danny Williams and the Warhol Factory. Like Karsten, looking forward to reading your opinion. Unfortunately, can't be in Berlin myself, would have loved to see you.

Doug, people are talking about that doc! I didn't know you were producing. Just the other day, Knut Elsterman, the voice of Radio Eins' coverage of the Berlinale ("official radio station of the Berlinale"), gave it a big fat juicy plug, saying he found it fascinating. I'll definitely try to catch it!

Great, David. I was told that there was applause at the end of its press screening yesterday. Good sign.

Yes, I'm a producer. Esther was one of my producers on Home Page, and returned the favor. Turned into a 7-year ride. If you get a chance to talk to Esther there you should (she'll be hanging out at the American Indies booth). The film has one of the great back stories ever. She decided not to use it in the film because it would make it too much about her, rather than her uncle Danny.

Better try to catch this much talked about doc, then... :)
