SXSW. Lineup.

110 films in nine days, March 9 through 17.
IndieWIRE has all the titles, casts and crews and descriptions for the
SXSW Film Conference and Festival lineup. As we hear more about these films over the coming weeks, priorities will surely be jostled, but for now, a few notes:
Also announced yesterday: "Robert Rodriguez's Grindhouse 101," a special presentation - now that's how you wake up on a Sunday morning. Theoretically, you could catch half an hour of this before popping over to chat with me and the Lonelygirl15 team about where they'll be taking their project next.
Frequent IFC News, Reeler and Premiere contributor (see his latest interview with Maria Maggenti, for example) and, yes, friend Aaron Hillis, along with Jennifer Loeber and Brian Cassidy, see the world premiere of their first feature, Fish Kill Flea, a doc about a mall that died and has been resurrected as a flea market.
Joe Swanberg, who's made the trailers for the festival this year: Hannah Takes the Stairs. An absolute must, obviously.
I look forward to finally seeing AJ Schnack's Kurt Cobain About a Son.
Oh! Michael Tucker and Petra Epperlein's The Prisoner, or: How I Planned to Kill Tony Blair will be there. I will be, too, then.
Michael Tully returns with Silver Jew.
Interesting description for the new one from Mike Mills: "An artful documentary look at the issues facing modern Japanese citizens as they battle the reality of depression in a culture that only recently started to embrace it." Does Your Soul Have a Cold?
How about this one: "A Pentecostal minister receives a vision from God to create an epic science fiction movie based on the bible story of Joseph, sending he and his followers on a journey of extreme faith." Audience of One.
Just too many intriguing titles to list. On top of the world premieres are several very well-selected highlights from Toronto, Vancouver, Park City and Berlin. Scheduling will no doubt present several predicaments - of the best kind.
