Berlinale. Competition.

The lineup for this year's Competition program at the Berlin International Film Festival is now complete. So we already know about these, these and this one; here's what's new:

• Cao Hamburger's O ano em que meus pais saíram de férias (The Year My Parents Went on Holiday, Brazil/Argentina).

• Ariel Rotter's El otro (The Other, Argentina/France/Germany).

• Joseph Cedar's Beaufort (Israel).

• Zhang Lu's Hyazgar (Desert Dream, Korea/France).

• Wang Quan'an's Tu ya de hun shi (Tuya's Marriage, China).

• Li Yu's Ping Guo (Lost in Beijing, China).

• Ryan Eslinger's When a Man Falls in the Forest (Canada/US).

• Zack Snyder's 300 (US).

• Richard Eyre's Notes on a Scandal (UK, out of competition).

• David Mackenzie's Hallam Foe (UK).

• And closing the festival will be François Ozon's Angel (France/Belgium/UK).
