Yes, they're still trickling on out there. Twitch editor Todd Brown rolls one out: "You'll find a list of fifteen films I loved - and it was tough to get the number down that low - ten major disappointments, five young directors to watch and five titles I'm looking forward to in 2007."

"It was the year of the nightmare," writes Jeffrey Overstreet, introducing his top 25. "So many of the year's most memorable films were about apocalyptic situations, that this moviegoer felt trapped in book of stories by Kafka." But his #1 is The New World.
