Great news. I still remember attending a very rare screening of Three Crowns of the Sailor at the sadly defunct Lux Cinema in London and being astonished by the feeling that film was being reinvented in front of me...

Thanks, David, for saying Chilean director and not Frech director. Many film writers are not so sensitive about this issue, which actually is quite important in his films. Mr. Ruiz has an astonishing filmography, and many of these have links with our language and culture.
