Freebie: Trapped by the Mormons.
"If you only see one Mormonsploitation flick in your lifetime, make it this one!" Gawker has exclaimed. The Washington Post calls Trapped by the Mormons a "sexy, hilarious, Grand Guignol of mesmerism, vampirism, and physical stirrings, wrapped up in a flickering black-and-white bow."
And, if you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, or plan to be, tomorrow, Friday or Saturday evening, and if you're lucky, you can see it for free. Yes, free.
The Yerba Buena Center for the Arts is making a limited number of tickets to each of the three 7:30 pm screenings available to those reading these words who then drop a line to content@greencine.com in the hopes of catching this clever and amusing indie - for free. There are no trick questions to answer, no further hoops to jump through. But again, there is a limited number of free tickets available. Click, request one, maybe even a pair, hit send. Good luck.

Posted by: Michael Guillen at May 25, 2006 8:03 AMOh, don't thank me, Michael. Thank Yerba Buena and the sharp fellow behind that "content@" email address who decided that this would be the best way to go about doing this.
