Crash winning Best Picture pretty much secures for me that there is no God. Are liberal guilts so easily manipulated that a grossly exploitative misinterpretation of racial/social issues can take the spotlight, or does the Academy just hate gays? Why do I suddenly long for the merely bland winners of the past X years?

Is it a cosmic joke on Steven Spielberg that the big winner sweeping the Japan Film Awards was also titled "Always"?
