SXSW. Features lineup.

Austin's
SXSW Film Festival (March 10 through 18) has made its full features lineup a few hours ahead of schedule: 115 in all, including 50 world premieres.
IndieWIRE's
Brian Brooks gets a quick word with festival producer
Matt Dentler: "We considered many more films this year, and I think the program stands among our best."
Scanning the list, besides the titles
already mentioned here, a few catch my eye. Not necessarily because their actually more promising - just more eye-catching.
The description of Fired!, for example: "After being fired by Woody Allen, [Annabelle] Gurwitch set out - with the help of some famous faces - to look at what it means to be both hired and fired as an American worker in the global economy."
Nobelity sounds like another talky one; here, the heads are Nobel Prize winners.
Potential here: Who the $#%& is Jackson Pollock?: "A documentary following the adventures of a 73 year-old truck driver, after she buys what some believe is a Jackson Pollock painting, for five dollars at a thrift shop."
Anyone following Michael Tully's blog is going to be pleased to finally get a chance to see Cocaine Angel.
Then there's Andy Dick's Danny Roane: First Time Director.
Last March, I was emailing with Tara Wray about Manhattan, Kansas; now I'll get to see it.
Could be fun: Air Guitar Nation.
Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room director Alex Gibney is back, this time with Herbie Hancock: Possibilities.
And there's a handful in there fresh from Sundance; wonder how hot a ticket Old Joy will be now that it's picked up critical accolades and an award in Rotterdam.
