Fests, 9/13.
First, a quick rundown of the various ways of keeping up with goings on in
Toronto:
Oodles of coverage: indieWIRE and Movie City News.
Individuals: Mike D'Angelo, Roger Ebert, Tom Hall, Jeremy Heilman, J Robert Parks and Darren Hughes, Noel Murray and Scott Tobias, Michael Sicinski and Jeffrey Wells. Update: London Telegraph critic Tim Robey (thanks, Nick!).
Group blogs and zines: Twitch is on its own turf here, and so, must be mentioned first. Also: Ain't It Cool News and Cinematical.
Industry-oriented news and reviews: Variety, Screen International (reviews on the left; scroll down a bit; and they won't be accessible long) and the Los Angeles Times. The Hollywood Reporter doesn't have a Toronto section per se, but its reviews section has been all but swamped by the festival.
QT6 rolls on through Saturday; Cinema Strikes Back is there. Update: CSB is not alone; just look at what Micah has been up to at Dumb Distraction: 1 (Secret Agent Night), 2 (All Night 80s Horror Marathon), 3 (Australia Night), 4 (Documentary Night) and 5 (Italian WWII Epic Night).
