While today's Supreme Court ruling with regard to the MGM vs Grokster case isn't overtly or obviously related to movies, it's likely to have an impact, however large or small, on future distribution models. So, in brief: as things stand as of today, file-sharing services may be held responsible for how "third parties" use them.
